5. Kolkata Knight Riders In IPL 2008 – 67
In IPL 2008, Kolkata Knight Riders managed a score of just 67 at a match against Mumbai Indians. This is the 5th lowest team total in the Indian Premier League so much better. In the match, Kolkata Knight Riders batted first because their openers totally failed. Ajit Agarkar and Sourav Ganguly were the greatest run-scorers for the group with only 15 runs each. The first two wickets fell back-to-back in the 3rd over. Later, it followed a string of dismissals. In the 15th over, the last batsman Shoaib Akhtar was also dismissed and the KKR’s scoreboard reached just 67-10.
Even though Mumbai Indians’ opener Sachin Tendulkar was ignored in the 1st over, Mumbai Indians easily managed to win the match in just 5.3 overs. With Sanath Jayasuriya’s 48 runs, Mumbai Indians won the match by 8 wickets.
4. Delhi Capitals In IPL 2017- 67
in IPL 2017, Delhi Capitals (Delhi Daredevils) also scored just 67 runs, and this also the lowest team total in IPL. Delhi Capitals played against Punjab Kings (Kings XI Punjab) in the match. The fallout of wickets for Delhi Capitals started in the 1st over with Sam Billings who was dismissed for a duck. All the batsmen failed to perform in front of the Punjab Kings’ effective bowling. Corey Anderson was the highest run-scorer of the Delhi Capitals with 18 runs. Delhi Capitals were bowled out for 67 in 17.1 overs.
Sandeep Sharma took 4 wickets while Axar Patel and Aaron Finch took 2 wickets each. Mohit Sharma and Glenn Maxwell also accounted for 1 wicket each. While batting, Punjab Kings won the match by 10 wickets after Martin Guptill scored a fifty (50) and Hashim Amla scored 16 runs.
